The Ronodin Riddle Quest will begin October 11th.

In-Person Play: One hardcover copy of Dragonwatch: Return of the Dragonslayers is hidden in each of the following cities: Clayton, CA (FOUND); Charlotte, NC (FOUND); Provo, UT (FOUND); Boise, ID (FOUND); Gilbert, AZ (FOUND).

Virtual Play: Five additional copies can be claimed virtually (one per person) by describing in detail where you believe the book is concealed.

Note: When making a virtual guess, you only get one shot, so makes sure it’s your very best guess.  The first five fans who virtually guess correctly (giving the most details based on the riddle) will claim the dragon’s hoard—the new book and a superfan promo kit.

Author Brandon Mull’s book character disrupts publisher’s plan to keep final Dragonwatch book under wraps until official release date.

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Ronodin, the dark unicorn, confiscated ten hardcover copies of Dragonwatch, book 5, Return of the Dragon Slayers from Shadow Mountain Publishing’s Distribution Center.

Chris Schoebinger, Publishing Director at Shadow Mountain, said the publisher knows it was Ronodin’s handiwork because he left behind a riddle.

“Signed by Ronodin himself,” Schoebinger stated. “The riddle contains cryptic clues to find the hidden books. We need your help! We believe superfans will be able to decipher the riddle in order to locate each book and protect the story from leaking to the public before the official release date of October 26. We know Brandon Mull superfans can be trusted and will safeguard the revelatory and jaw-dropping information inside book 5.”

The publisher is desperate and offering a reward. Upon solving the riddle and finding where Ronodin has stashed an embezzled book, the superfan will not only get to keep the early copy of Dragonwatch: Return of the Dragonslayers, but the finder will also receive a Fablehaven/Dragonwatch Superfan Promo Kit.
