Pumpkin Spice Steamer
3 cups milk (2% or whole)
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 cup pumpkin puree
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Topping
whipped cream
ground cinnamon

1. Blend all steamer ingredients in a blender until smooth and frothy.
2. Pour into a large pot. Heat on medium-high, stirring constantly, until warmed through, about 5 minutes. Make sure to stir so the milk doesn’t scald or boil.
3. Pour into mugs, top with whipped cream, and sprinkle with cinnamon.

NOTES
• When we serve this drink at a party, we like to leave it in a slow cooker on the warm setting. Throughout the party, make sure to stir it so the spices don’t settle at the bottom.

• When you are making this recipe, you can play with the balance of milk and heavy cream or even try half-and-half, depending on how creamy you like your hot drinks. If you’d rather make it dairy-free, you can try oat milk or almond milk instead.

• It is best to simmer this drink in a heavy-bottom saucepan on low heat.
